Taking things one day at a time.
Working hard at a job that absorbs all my attention during the day because it is complex and demanding.
Sleeping 8 hours a night (give or take).
Commuting back and forth to work, back and forth to the hospital.
Grateful for the respite from round-the-clock caregiving, manipulative and controlling behaviors.
Maintaining a sense of balance, centered and calm.
Life is good.
