Hair Today, Hair Tomorrow

Unlike Sue, who has beautiful, naturally dark brown hair, my hair has been steel gray for years. It started with a few strands when I was 18 or so, and galloped to a full head of gray hair quite a few years ago (not mentioning how many).

Today I went to the pharmacy to buy floss and a few other sundry items. Passing by the shelves for shampoo and such, I saw a sale on hair color. Two for the price of one. On an impulse, I bought two.

My hair is now its original color once more. I catch a glimpse of myself as I pass a mirror and wonder who is that woman? Did she displace the old lady who used to live here? Kind of fun to have a new hair color, though keeping it up will be a nuisance.

I used men's hair color, since my hair is short. Leave it to men to have a simple, easy-to-use, quick method for coloring hair. The women's hair color...well, potions and lotions and timing and covering and rinsing...oh, my!

I'm pleased with the results; the cat is still eyeing me warily. Who dat?
