As I was puttering around this morning, making the bed and putting away the clean dishes and answering a letter from a friend, I was wondering about the future.

Would there ever be a time when all the housework was done, all the errands were run, all the bills paid, all the garage sorted and cleaned, all that sort of thing FINISHED and one could sit back and say..."Now what? I've run out of things to do. Ahhh...at last..."?

I know the house is a money pit, absorbing great wads of cash in a single gulp (think new roof, floor refinishing). Maybe what it regurgitates back out are tasks and errands. *burp*

Oh. There is no such thing as "finished".
