Donated my once-every-two-months pint of blood yesterday after work. One of the best technicians I've had as a puncturist in many years. A bit slow, but a perfect stab. Gotta love those Virgos!

I have a tendency to be a bit under the 12.5 hemoglobin requirement, so each time I donate is preceded by two or three days of eating to make those little red darling dance and multiply. Plus no tea, iced or otherwise.

It will be a pleasure to go back to my usual way of eating, since I rarely eat meat except when I'm going to donate blood.

Slept like the proverbial log and feel fine today, except for maybe a bit of lassitude (which also could also be due to a brief transition from one crazy work period to the next). I've seldom heard the office so quiet.

Biggest task for today is to approve payroll. Guess people want to get paid, donchaknow.

Good thing I didn't bring my Kindle to work. I'd be sneaking some reading time if I had. Probably clean out my filing cabinet and set up for the next fiscal year instead.

Little by little, I'm taking stuff home and deleting computer files.
