So I wish it would rain already and get it over with. Except that this is southern California; we get a mild version of what the southeast experiences a few days earlier. Thus, instead of Isaac's torrential rain and lightning, we'll just have heavy dark clouds and HUMIDITY.

Gah! Everything sticks to your body. Your arms stick to the desktop when typing. You break out in a sweat at the least exertion and even the fans don't do much to cool you off. Ack!

I'm seriously tempted to turn on the a/c in the bedroom and close the door, the indea being that the air conditioner sucks moisture out of the air (drip, drip, drip into a bucket below) and at least that one room will be a place to escape to, for napping and sleep.

Have I successfully communicated how much I despise hot, humid weather? Good. I'll climb down off my high horse now.
