A power blip erased the long entry I'd been writing. Here's the nutshell version:

Interesting guy, Ferrat (wiki entry). He also wrote "Aimer à perdre la raison" (a song les Les Enfoirés have incorporated into their show at least twice), as well as a rather less fluffy chanson des tournesols. ("Your sunflowers are drooping as they doze in their prison of money...")

My local library has nothing by him or Louis Aragon, so that's two more names for the "someday" list.

I'm neither particularly functional nor fluent in French, other than owning a decent dictionary, so suggestions, corrections, and amplifications are most welcome. The title means "Running Around in the Sunflowers" (song by Marc Lavoine).
