I read Grandfather Rice's blog here at Journalscape, and came upon this bit of description that moved my soul:
" . . . people wearing their butts as sweaterhats."
Wow.
As in, " . . . it occurred to me (again) that the United States people, taken by and large, have their heads up their collective anuses . . . [I]t almost universally appears to be, with little variation of depth, people wearing their butts as sweaterhats."
Amen, brother. Or Grandfather, as the case may be. Rock on.
