Christmas Shopping Frenzy

Sick, sick, sick. I’m sick of being sick! All I want to do is sleep. I have no energy, very little motivation.
Jodi and I went to E. City yesterday. I had a work related errand that had to be done. We decided to run by Wal-Mart and do a little shopping. That store was so crowded, it was like Christmas Eve. We found a couple of things. I’m just about finished shopping. I have to get some gifts for a few friends, but I think I’m going to make a few simple stained glass things. I did a majority of my shopping online this year. It is nice to be able to do that. It’s great for people who are sick or people who hate to shop in stores. The present we bought for Heather won’t be delivered until after Christmas. I didn’t notice until the order was complete. I called Tim and told him about it. I’m sorry Heather, but if it’s any consolation, you are going to love it!
I tried to take a sick day tomorrow, but my boss says she doesn’t have anyone to work in my place. I’m working in a remote station for the 24 hour, so it will most likely be an uneventful shift. I hope so anyway.
I do have my office now, which is great. It’s nice to have everything organized and in one place. My phone line isn’t working very well, I can get incoming calls and faxes, but can’t call out or fax out.
Not very much going on at the home front. John thinks he may be getting the flu, so does Wayne. I hope no one else gets sick, but we are all home so much, that it is likely they will.
Mom called yesterday and told me it was snowing, last time I talked to her they had about 3 inches. She called this morning to tell me the news about Saddam. I’m glad they caught him. That’s about all for now.
