The Day After

I woke up this morning rested and excited about the New Year, a fresh start, a breath of fresh air, renewing hope in my co-workers, a new attitude from management, and a fresh start. Wouldn’t that be nice? If time somehow erases all previous bad feelings on January 1st. everyone gets a clean slate.

I had a really nice Christmas. My son in CA called and we had a nice talk. Wayne came home from college. I did feel bad at one point on Christmas morning; Some of Wayne’s gifts did not get here in time. He will just have to have a week long gift event. That’s not such a bad thing! Jodi got just about everything she wanted. John racked up on music stuff. I didn’t do to bad either. I got some stained glass tools, a new jeep, a trip to CA for my son’s wedding. I have no complaints. Life is good.

My drunk, worthless first cousin called at 11 pm last night. He asked” how are you?” about 10 times before I got irritated. I haven’t spoken to him since Granny died. The little puke, I wish I hadn’t answered the phone.

Mom called, she has a white Christmas. The lucky thing! We had a rainy Christmas; it was a bit to warm for snow, almost 60 degrees!

I’ve got to get ready for work. More later!
