sjrozan I'm a writer, at work on my 11th book. This blog is a record of random and less-random thoughts. If you want to know more about me, check my website, linked here. I also had a blog going from spring through late fall 2004 about the publishing process for my 9th book, ABSENT FRIENDS. That blog's called "Progress" and you can find the link here. I won't make any more entries but I'm leaving it up in case anyone's interested; the process is more or less the same from book to book. |

2004-08-18 12:58 PM Garden Haiku IV Can't believed I haven't blogged in ten days. Don't have all that much to say but will say it over the weekend. Meanwhile, more of these, for those of you who can stand it:
Rustling leaves, birds chirp, All else quiet until next door Child throws a tantrum. First crisp morning air. Geese slice sky in practice V's. Lilies almost gone. Plant, prune, stake, feed, weed. But I wonder: gardening? Or interfering? Geese argue with crows. Honk versus caw: big racket. Seagulls mediate. Last night, sweeping storm. By dawn, only fog; but now Rain in my teacup.
