Cold air blows from north.
Joggers wear sweats; dogs, sweaters.
Tulips closed again.
Ahead, sky in stripes.
Left, ridges; right, fluffy clouds.
Straight overhead: blank.
Infinite green shades:
Leaves, pine needles, blades of grass,
Soft moss, dark water.
