me in the piazza

I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.) Here you can find links to my almost-daily blog posts, including the Saturday haiku I've been doing for years. BUT the blog itself has moved to my website. If you go on over there you can subscribe and you'll never miss a post. (Miss a post! A scary thought!) Also, I'll be teaching a writing workshop in Italy this summer -- come join us!

SEEING THE MOON

In celebration of the impending publication of GHOST HERO, and also so, in the spirit of Lydia Chin's mother, youse can all check out this new Chinese-American PI, Jack Lee, who horns in on Lydia and Bill as they work the case, we here at SJR Central are offering the Jack Lee short story "Seeing the Moon" for Kindle download for 99 cents until, um, we decide otherwise, or Halloween, whichever comes first. (Halloween, GHOST HERO, get it?) "Seeing the Moon" is narrated by Jack Lee himself, was first published in ON A RAVEN'S WING, and has been picked up for Ed Gorman's latest YEAR'S FINEST MYSTERY STORIES volume (not out yet). And if you have the tech, you can read it now!
