me in the piazza

I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.) Here you can find links to my almost-daily blog posts, including the Saturday haiku I've been doing for years. BUT the blog itself has moved to my website. If you go on over there you can subscribe and you'll never miss a post. (Miss a post! A scary thought!) Also, I'll be teaching a writing workshop in Italy this summer -- come join us!

In case you want to hear me without the funny Russian accent

WBGO will broadcast a segment of the interview I did out there -- out there being Newark -- this Friday night, Nov. 4, at 7:30 pm on the WBGO Journal. The entire thing, except for where I say dumb things and make a fool of myself (those have been edited out, I am assured) will be up on the website.

I myself will have to catch it on the website, seeing as how Friday night I'll be in Concord MA at the Concord Festival of Authors at 7:30 at the Concord Library. (Scroll down, we may be cool but we don't get our own page).

If you live near Concord, you know it, and I'd love to see you there. (PS, it's free.) If you don't, but you live near Brooklyn, you can catch me there Sunday Nov. 6, yes, this same weekend -- my, how I get around. I'll be at Bookcourt at 5:00 pm. It's Marathon Day, but the runners will have long since left Brooklyn; most, in fact, will have by then crossed the finish line in Central Park. So they won't get in your way. This reading, incidentally, though the venue's different, is the final event in the long-running Sundays at Sunny's series. If you loved that series as I did, come on out to say goodbye.
