Upcoming workshops: "Writing the Books We Like to Read" -- Omega Institute, June 9-14 and
"Crime Writing and Genre Fiction" -- Art Workshop International, Assisi, Italy, July 30-Aug 10

Twenty-second Saturday, from Rancho Obsesso

Pounding rain sweeps in.
Yard turns to swamp, path to stream.
Garden becomes marsh.

Single starling flies
From new oak to old maple.
He needs thicker tree.

Blooms on mock orange
Intoxicating in sun.
Won't happen today.
