me in the piazza

I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.) Here you can find links to my almost-daily blog posts, including the Saturday haiku I've been doing for years. BUT the blog itself has moved to my website. If you go on over there you can subscribe and you'll never miss a post. (Miss a post! A scary thought!) Also, I'll be teaching a writing workshop in Italy this summer -- come join us!

On the road (briefly)

Leaving early in the morning for Muncie, Indiana, to go to Magna Cum Murder. I've never been to Magna, never been to Muncie, and I'm Guest of Honor, so how's that for making an entrance? I have two panels and an interview, but mostly I'm look forward to a lot of hanging out. This is a small convention, sort of like the late lamented Mid-Atlantic, so although not nearly as many people will be there as were just at Bouchercon, you really get a chance to hang with, eat with, drink with, talk with the folks who go. See you guys on the other side!
