Two! (count 'em) 2 Blogs in One! (count it) 1 Day!

Soggy has become mushy outdoors. There's a pair of rivers in my east side front yard where there once was a nice lawn. There are three hedge bushes flattened by the cement trucks that brought two loads of concrete a couple of days ago, before the rain began to besot the area.
So, now, there is a very deep pair of tire tracks between the two tall pines on that side of the front yard. The gate and the 8 foot dog-eared wooden fence is tossed aside like so much straw in the wind.

Building has come to a stand-still due to the wet weather, that's about to turn to sleet and then snow. They are now predicting 6 to eight inches. Bad news. Laying block looks like a hazardous to impossible proposition. Despite this my builder plans to be here bright and early tomorrow. He says the rain is what stops work and snow is no kind of problem. Meanwhile things are so wet that I can't imagine that the snow will be able to hold its shape for even an instant after it falls to earth.

My builder is trusting to blessings from above and so far he has just about performed miracles. We'll see what the New December days will bring.
