So we are back from MI and Mother's Day intacted. It was a bit breezy on the way home yesterday, and we are both kind of wandering around aimlessly today since we got in around midnight. It always seems like a long way to go for such a short time. For those of you in MI, we will be back up around Memorial Day if you will be around. There's graduations and bonfires, but again, it seems like a waste to not visit if we are only a few hours away, instead of 8 hours away. Hopefully the weather will be better.

Got my first experience (at least that I can remember) of planting annuals. I have a pot of garish-red pansies, a bright marigold, some other small red flowers and one lone pink snap dragon, working valantly to soften up the color arrangement. Eh. It seemed like a good idea at the time.
