In a perfect world, things would happen like this:

I would stop waiting for the other shoe to drop on my days off.

Things have been really busy but happy. The last week working at trinity has been a lot of fun, mainly because I get to see guru most days. The catalog is bubbling along and other projects are on hold until it is finished. Hope to be putting the cap on it at the end of next week. I also have not been able to shake the feeling that I should be putting on business causual attire and going to uss. It's like the week never really ended.

I've got the go ahead to submit a proposal for "why I think trinity needs a graphic designer" in 500 words or less. I have about a week to write it in. I'm a bit nervous about it, mainly because I have very little experience writing proposals so I'm not sure what all is involved. Of course I also don't know how complicated it needs to be for this particular audience. Is it just a formality or am I defending a position? The budget has been very tight this year, so I suspect the latter.

We've added a new member to the household. Anton joins us at 30"x 20" x 31" and really heavy. We plan to place our tv on him and roll him around the apartment. The nice thing about Anton is that he has real casters that lock. So we seriously can move it around as we want. This is all part of our master plan to rearrange the house. We've also gained a partion couch in 5 sections. It is very comfy though dusty. Our front room at the moment looks like an estate sale, but we are still "intuiting" about indivdual pieces, the harmony between them, and the correct setting for the structure itself. (I gotch'er fenshew right 'ere.) The plan is to make the front area more "meet and greet" and turn the back room into a joint office. We'll see how it goes. I'm a bit dubious of sharing space, but it might work if we use it at different times. This will hopefully cascade in a few weeks into a decision about the mac. We definately need a new one, but we are still debating how much money to sink into it.

I've also been rounding out the next chapter of ES, though I can always use more time to wrap it up. I'm kind of excited about the action, I just need to read up on the rules after finishing with the npc's. 3rd edition is annoying because everything makes sense. I know I keep saying that, but it was much easier to fiddle with the rules in 2nd edition since they weren't cohesive. So if you as a DM did something "funny" a lot of the blunder could be covered up by contradictory or obscure rules. I always feel like I'm doing algerbra with 3rd. And that I forgot to carry the 2.

Saw this and had to follow suit. I had a poster of these guys up on my wall at Kzoo. We taped in our names under who should die what way.

Oooh, easy does it on the metal food group
You will swallow some tacks. You are a little
weird, maybe not so much in a good way. Buy a
yellow tie and wear it on your head.
