Just another day here--no last minute shopping (no car) or gift-wrapping (because of no shopping.)

I had a couple of slightly sore muscles from yesterday's PT workout. They're feeling good now, though, and I'll do a light workout this evening. I am getting really really really tired of being trapped in the house!

It was warmish this morning and I decided to walk around outside a bit, including up to the road to see if the paper delivery had resumed. (It had.) The mail had also arrived. Nothing interesting--just a bill.

The pet sitter arrived and did her thing, and we chatted a bunch. I'm glad I'm having her come, even though I'm home, and as soon as I can fish the big pooper-scooper out from under the front porch I'll be able to handle the de-tootsie-rolling routine myself. My little Lady cat has learned her arrival routine and is right there at the door ready to try to escape when she opens it. But the pet-sitter was not born yesterday and opens the door with one hand ready to block the cat's exit.

This afternoon I watched the Saints almost win. I think that today's game earned them the first pick in the draft, if that's any consolation.

Just heard the background noise to the holiday season here--firecrackers. Actually, they are for New Year's Eve, but they go on sale two weeks before that. Kids being kids (and this refers to all ages) they seldom wait till the big night before "testing" them.

Tomorrow will be a quiet day--OD is having an open-house sort of thing on Boxing Day. As of 1630 none of what little I ordered had arrived. So? Christmas has 12 days to it. The stuff should be here by Kings' Day.
