I'm still getting used to the work week thing, and Saturday being a day to concentrate on Things Around the House.

And today that was laundry. I knew it needed doing when I couldn't find a black cotton knit top the other day. I have at least two that are suitable for outside the yard, but I couldn't even remember when I last wore them. When I checked the laundry basket it was about to overflow, so the morning was spent doing the laundry. I have the last dryer load left to fold and put away, but that's not critical. Before I can use the shower I have a bunch of stuff drying on hangers over the tub. These need to be relocated before showering. Once that is done I'll be essentially caught up on laundry. Note: Laundry definitely accumlates faster when one feels obliged to were Something Decent (and reasonably "professional" looking) half the week.

Once that was out of the way it was off to Arby's, then PJ's for an afternoon of "geek" reading. I picked up my mail on the way out and found another book about archaeology that I'd ordered. It looks quite promising.

The rest of the afternoon and early evening will be spent watching LSU men play in the Final Four. I don't usually watch a lot of basketball but this is something special.

(Incidentally, this afternoon it got into the 80s. And more of that is on tap for the upcoming week.)
