That was today's swim--and it's just over half a mile. I found, as I suspected, that 4 PM is a really slow time. There were only two others in the pool when I was swimming. I don't worry about safety--they have a couple of cameras scanning at all times. (I checked on that when I went to see the facility.)

I did the first 500 yards non-stop in back crawl. That is SO good for my knees and hips. I'm really pleased that after almost a year without swimming--with the hip surgery and the back problems--I'm still in fairly good shape. I should be doing a mile easily by the end of the month.

Other than that, it was just another day. It hasn't rained (yet) but I don't really expect it to.

One thing about joining the fitness center--I really REALLY hate to waste money, and that's incentive enough. I just have to adjust my "routine" a bit to include that swim at least two or three times a week.

Today's "saying," found in a Signals catalog ad: There are only 10 kinds of people--those who understand binary and those who don't.
