And it was the Saints that had the 23 points. Footballwise, it was an incredibly satisfactory game. And the full house of 68,000 plus were enthusiastic fans.

The really neat part, however, was the "reunions" of people who have season tickets in the same area. Lots of hugging and "how did you do?" as most of the familiar faces were back.

The productivity of workers in the New Orleans area will no doubt take a dip tomorrow, and I'll bet a lot of kids will have "black and gold flu."

The Dome looks really nice, although we noted that the rest rooms did not get "face lifts" like many other areas. The new graphics are great--the TV showing the plays is actually viewable. There's still work to be done, but it has a fantastic new roof and is once again an excellent venue for pro football, as well as things like conventions etc.

A very pleasant evening.

Saints 23, Falcons 3. And New Orleans is now in first place (at 3-0) in the Southern division of the NFC.
