Back home, full of turkey and other good things. I went with YD and family to to YGD's godparents' house. They are fabulous people, and each year put on a Thanksgiving dinner for large numbers of very interesting people. (Most of the guests bring Food Bank donations.)

This year was no exception, regarding interesting people. One man came with his new pet--a miniature parrot from Costa Rica. Not a parakeet, but about the size of one. It was a pretty little thing and quite friendly. The hosts' two very shaggy dogs meandered among the guests. They were more than willing to stop by anyone and everyone who would talk to them and pet them. They liked my ear-scritching.

Anna's had a cold or something and was a bit feverish at first, but she perked up and sang to us most of the drive home.

I got home a bit after 7 PM. The cats were VERY glad to see me.

Maybe tomorrow I'll manage to accomplish something productive.
