Right--I didn't leave the house at all, unless you count walking to the front to get the mail and paper.

I did get some tidying done in the bedroom, and I got all the dry laundry that was hanging in the shower back where it belongs.

And I got caught up in the Kathy Reichs book Break No Bones. I'll finish that easily this evening.

I've also finished Plows, Plagues, and Petroleum. I highly recommend that one. He writes for a non-academic audience, but it's all based on solid research and peer-reviewed articles he's written.

Weather was definitely "brisk" today, and tomorrow isn't expected to top 60 either.

I guess the most exciting thing to happen today was when I knocked the glass of cranberry juice over on the rug. It wasn't a total disaster, since I had a lid with a drinking hole on the container, but it did call for quick action with the towels to soak up and then sponge off the carpet.

Does that make it an VIUD?
