The only difference is that this morning was WalMart morning, not to mention get-gas morning.

Good heavens but the gas prices have skyrocketed in the last 2-3 weeks! I distinctly remember not very long ago when gas was in the $1.90ish range. Today it was $2.30 something. It would be nice to boycott driving, but when there is no public transportation, that's impossible.

I dozed off watching BookSpan--partly because there was a cat on me. When I woke up I gave almost a full second of thought to working outside, but the "brisk" temperature disabused me of that notion pretty quickly.

So, I promised myself that I'd work outside tomorrow (if the weather was appropriate) and took off for PJ's, book in hand.

Current read: Deja Dead, by Kathy Reichs. It's the first in her series about forensic anthropologist Temperance something-or-other. I've read one and it's a good read. This evening I'll continue reading while I watch TV.

Another translation of today's subject is another IUD.
