Of course, the week didn't start till Tuesday. And since I didn't go in on Tuesday, it didn't start till Wednesday for me. No wonder it seems like a short week. This coming week will be "normal"--working all but Tuesday. And that afternoon I see the orthopedist for a regular visit. (I'll bet he wants to talk about my crip card request.)

Today was ordinary. I did laundry--and since I dry slacks by hanging them over the tub (from a tension shower-rod over the center of the tub) I guess a shower isn't on tonight's agenda. It can wait till tomorrow.

I cleaned the bathroom. The big item there is, as always, the cats' corner where they "do their thing." (When I shop tomorrow I need to buy more kitty litter.)

At some point I fell asleep and had a very satisfactory nap.

I have an exciting evening ahead of me--TV, reading, and Cross-Sums puzzles. And early to bed. Once again I vow to do yard work in the morning.

A sad note--Madeline L'Engel passed. I think I became acquainted with her marvelous books via my older daughter. As a result, just about all her books for young people were already on the home bookshelves when YD started reading.

That's it for another IUD.
