Getting There

This afternoon I finished grading the most recent exams. All that's left now, grading-wise, are the paperlets. I can definitely finish those by Wednesday--the last day of classes.

Best of all, I finished the exam-grading with just enough time left to get back home from PJ's before the Saints' game started. Good thing the Christmas parade that pretty much closed off town had passed the street I need to use to get home. Actually, I don't think it was all that much of a parade, based on the relatively low noise level and the relatively small number of parade-goers who came into PJ's afterwards.

The raccoons apparently decided the nuts were too much trouble to eat. I'm sure there are squirrels around who do not share that opinion.

The Saints game was not the kind you go home early from. (I know--a preposition is something you never end a sentence with.) In fact, it didn't really end till there was less than a minute left. Unfortunately, Tampa Bay was ahead at the final whistle.

YD's husband took someone from his office to the game. I wonder if he's home yet. The only problem with the reserved parking is that it's on the roof of the parking garage, and there are three lower levels to clear out first. When the game goes down to the wire . . . well, you can use your imagination.

So, even though today was unremarkable, at least it was productive gradingwise. I doubt tomorrow will be different, at least in the unremarkability category.
