I had a doctor's appointment (regular six month BP check etc.) at 11 AM. I left the house before 10:30 for the 15 minute drive. Technically, I was late for the appointment. The traffic on the main drag was moving at the pace of 4 or 5 cars through an intersection for each green light. I got there about five after 11. Amazingly enough, by the time the nurse took the BP it was delightfully low. I see him again in six months, barring something unforeseen.

When I got home I ate, then took a bit of a nap. I didn't really do much of anything other than read, clean cat boxes, and load up the washer. (I should really run it this evening.)

My tentative plans are to work the next three days, but that will depend on whether they shut the office down for break. I'll find out what the schedule is tomorrow.

The "brisk" (cold for here) weather of the last few days is leaving us. That means I won't hear the furnace cycling on and off, and my gas bill will be reasonable next month.

The title says it all--an incredibly unremarkable day.
