I'm having a hard time figuring that out. My usual "markers" have disappeared. I just about had to count on my fingers to figure out that today is Saturday. (Of course, I could have cheated and looked at my phone, or looked at the words by the number on my Word-a-Day calendar, but that would be too easy.)

Laundry was on today's to-do list, and at the moment there is a load in the dryer waiting to be put away so that the load in the washer can be dried.

And, in the afternoon I got out and did some more yard work. Little by little the stuff is getting weeded out along the driveway. Thank goodness I can see where I stopped, otherwise I might have little incentive to keep at it.

I also finished the Carrie Vaughn book. I haven't decided what to read next. I got Connie Willis's Passage in the mail today. That is such a fantastic book. I read it several years ago, and I just might be ready to read it again.

Tomorrow there's a football game to watch, so yard stuff will have to be either in the morning or the late afternoon.

So, today was another totally unremarkable day in an incredibly unremarkable life.
