Got up a bit before eight this morning (cats on top of you have a soporific effect), washed my hair, trimmed my bangs, did the usual other stuff--and went to church. I was greeted enthusiastically by several friends and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Our half-time minister had a good sermon, the music was marvelous. The postlude was a very good piano rendition of Scott Joplin's "The Entertainer."

I stopped at Sam's for gas on the way home, and picked up (and paid for) a few goodies at the WalMart next door.

Then it was back home, eat, nap, watch football.

A really active day!!

Tomorrow will not be a work day--I have a chiropracter appointment and then I have to visit the lab--again. Never a dull minute. I'm hoping to have time in there somewhere to a) work in yard, b)read some more of Leonard Shlain, and/or c) go swim. The nice part about where I swim is that it's a salt-water pool, and my hair doesn't feel at all icky if I don't wash it after swimming.

And now I need to put out the raccoon/opossum food. I'm hoping this becomes a sufficiently trusted place that in the spring I'll see little ones.

I hear lots of crowd noise from the TV--it's tuned to a football game. I think I'm rooting for San Diego in this one because I lived there a year and a half.

(I also think it's far enough along in the evening that I can get comfortable by removing an upper torso undergarment.)
