Heavy Rain=Home Day

Once again the 0530 weather radar showed solid bands of heavy rain, with little likelihood of letting up in time for me to find a parking spot within (my) walking distance.

Instead I did "stuff" around the house.

I continued in my hunt for the dining room table and have gotten rid of routine bills going back to 2005. I still have a bunch of credit card statements that I need to shred, but progress has been made.

Other areas also got tidying and I put a full trash container out at the front of the house. My trash man picks up Tuesdays, but the current crew on the big outfit doesn't look to see if I am a paying customer but just grabs the barrel and dumps it. (That outfit costs more than twice what I pay, but two barrels once a week is plenty suitable for me.)

Weather now is cool again. Rather, it is cold. The furnace cycled on. I wonder how many cats will seek my body heat tonight.

So what kind of day did I have? Right--an IUD.
