After a couple of weeks of sorting things out, I finally got one carton of materials sorted into semi-logical piles, then placed in acid-free folders. And the folders are carefully labelled and the box will be completely done as soon as I type up the inventory.

The rest of the collection will come together quickly now. I have about half of a scrapbook that needs copying and a bunch of stuff already processed but waiting to be put in the folders etc. etc. and so forth.

I have tentative plans for putting that off till Friday. There are other things I need to do tomorrow. The blood center lady keeps calling me, and I keep stopping by and being one point short on the iron supply. Well, I've been gulping iron pills for a week and a half, so it should be okay tomorrow. I've been giving blood now for 50 years.

Once again I was greeted this afternoon at the end of the driveway by Emma and Lady. They are definitely getting along well together.

I'm going to try to get a flea collar on her--a collar that will have her name and my phone number in magic marker.

Lady has become much more of a house cat at night since Emma arrived. And she she shows her possession "rights" by sleeping on top of me. I don't mind, because she weighs so little that I am barely aware she's there.

Fabian is another story. At 23 or so pounds I definitely know when he's on top of me, plus he's a bed hog.

And--only ten months more of political campaigning!
