Today was, for all intents and purposes, Friday. I'll go back on Tuesday.

I did bring some work home--I plan to type up the inventories here where I have a computer all to myself.

And I have seen my next collection. It doesn't quite fill a carton but it's fascinating. I was handling 100 year old paper this afternoon! Much of the material seems to be from Newcomb's beginning in the 1880s through the subsequent fifty or so years.

I also brought home a catalog of archival materials, because I'd like to find something to slip those 100 year old newspaper clippings into.

(Okay Tess--into which I can slip those 100 year old clippings.)

(My mother was an English teacher.)

On my arrival home I was greeted by two girl cats telling me in no uncertain terms that they were in imminent danger of starvation. And a few feet away was the gentleman caller--also interested in feeding time, but not (yet) sure if I'm safe.

Come to think of it--he has reason to worry. If I can get close enough to catch him he'll get shots and have a wee bit of snipping in his nether regions.

I'm anxious for it to be really spring so I can see if the raccoons and possums bring little ones to the charity kitchen. If so, I'll see about getting some humane traps so they can get vaccinated against rabies.

And tomorrow is either Friday again, or Early Saturday.
