It was basically an IUD.

However, in the morning I passsed on a big bunch of needlsecraft stuff that has been stashed in obscure places for years. Someone put up a SEEK on Freecycle, and I responded. Her mother teaches Home Ec at way the other end of the parish, and Home Ec has gone way beyond making oatmeal and sewing a clever apron.

Before she came I got a bunch more done on the great lawn weeding. I also planted some caladium bulbs. Optimism rules.

Lady "helped" me by eithher chasing weeds as I pulled them, or flopping down right where I wanted to weed.

TomTom supervised from a safe distance. I have decided that if I ever catch him I'll change his name to John.

Why John? Ask Eric.

After lunch I headed for PJ's and ran into a friend there. We had a lovely conversation.

And I barely made it home before the rain started. I think it was the first of several showers.

Tomorrow will be a work day. I hope it doesn't rain when I am between a building and my car.
