This past week of a not-normal "schedule" has left me totally confused about what day it is. It didn't help that I made groceries Saturday, instead of my usual Sunday.

Anyway, tomorrow will be Things As Usual. I called the Tulane cops and they assured me that the street is totally open again. Therefore, I shall go in to work. I've got the alarm set already but am still trying to decide what to wear.

The dress code is definitely casual around there, so it's more a matter of what do I think I'll feel like wearing tomorrow.

I spent most of the afternoon at PJ's. Shortly after I got there it began to rain. A couple of hours later the rain had let up so I headed for Arby's to pick up some supper. Change of plans necessary--there was no electricity on that side of the street.

When I got home the championship game of the Arena Football League was coming to a nail-biting end. I wasn't rooting for any particular team, but it was played in New Orleans and the last few days have had all sorts of special events. One morning all the team mascots were on the TV early show I like to watch.

Little by little the oil is getting sopped and mopped up. There are no longer any restrictions on taking water from the river for public water systems. And the lines of ships waiting to use the river are growing, although somewhat more river traffic is being allowed. I don't think the damaged barge has actually been moved out of the middle of the river yet. That should be interesting to watch.

My Calico Cutie (CC) was resting on my printer and heard the birds in the nest just outside the window. They can't be seen from inside, but she was EXTREMELY curious about all the chirping sounds.
