And I could not believe the "paving" job they did. One lane down the middle of the road. I don't think they did anything on the road going the other way. And this school likes to think of itself as a rival to the Ivies.

I made good progress on the collection I've been working on. I need to e-mail the archivist and tell her that I'll soon be ready for another one.

No rain at all this afternoon, but that doesn't mean it won't rain tomorrow. Or the next day. That's summer around here.

Wildlife and Fisheries has noisemakers in the bad marshy areas. They go "bang" with a certain degree of regularity and (hopefully) keep the birds from landing in the oily muck.

My mail included an Express Mail envelope that was fairly large. No return address on it. But that's just plain common sense when your are mailing out Saints season tickets.

Along with the tickets and parking passes came a "free" Saints license plate holder. Last year we just got a lousy sticker saying "Season Ticket Holder." This year they've upgraded. At the moment I don't have a fancy license plate holder, but I soon will.

I wonder if little skinny nose/hairless tail will drop in this evening. I'd really prefer he(?) didn't, so I'll be sure to have munchies OUTSIDE for him.

Just another day.
