Today ended up being a totally at-home day during which I accomplished very little.

For some reason I had (still have, actually) a sore shoulder. Using a heating pad on it in the summer is not the most cooling activity there is. But the heat does help relax it.

I didn't do much of anything today other than read. (Hard to do much else with a heating pad on.) Some of it was geek reading, so that's okay. And I can rationalize historical mysteries as semi-geek, so that's even better.

I plan on staying home tomorrow, and the weather forecast suggests that I will have fewer excuses to postpone yard work.

CC is intrigued by the bird noises behind the air conditioner. She has taken to napping on my printer and can hear the little birds chirping away, even with the AC on. I can still print things (from the computer) with her on top, and she doesn't even chase the paper as it goes in and out of the printer.

We had a bit of rain this morning--enough that I wasn't interested in putting on my new license plate holder. Maybe tomorrow.

That bit of rain also cooled it down enough that I felt no need for OPAC. I was perfectly comfortable reading at home with the fan on.

Tomorrow I need to get some stuff accomplished, however.
