Obviously, my body was enjoying the cooler weather because I didn't wake up till almost 10 AM. I had already decided to stay home today and try to get some stuff done around the house etc. so the late rising wasn't the end of the world.

I picked up some stuff, cleaned the few crumbs left by the cat possum feeding area and tended to trash. It needs to go out to the street either this evening or first thing tomorrow. (My trash pick-up person gets here after 10.)

Most of the afternoon was spent at PJ's, where I got a lot more reading done in Sara Evans' book Tidal Wave. The reading was accompanied by a cup of coffee and a day-old muffin.

PJ's has excellent muffins, which they sell for $2.50 the day they are baked. But at the end of the day all the leftovers are saran-wrapped and sold for $1 each the next day. They are still fresh and quite a bargain.

Tomorrow I plan to set the alarm so I don't sleep so late!
