an IUD.

I did, however, make progress on Elizabeth's papers. Probably it will be another day before I can make out a rough idea of arrangement.

They are packed in no particular order, although there are big clumps of clippings, letters, etc. about a particular topic. But those clumps almost all need trimming (if they are newspaper) and being reunited with others on the same topic.

Today was the day for reading legal documents and correpondence with various lawyers. I also read government documents about discrimination of various sorts.

This evening I shall have to find something light to read.

I got in to work by 7 AM this morning. That hour gets me away from most of the early birds and regular work time people. And, of course, I had a prime parking place.

When I left work the car parked next to me had been booted. I jokingly remarked to a guy nearby something about the boot maybe being a result of the McCain/Palin bumper sticker. Guess what? It was the guy's car.

He restrained himself admirably as he stared at it. I asked him if he knew where the cops were and he said he did. I even offered to give him a ride there, but he turned it down. (Maybe he didn't want to be seen in a car with an Obama/Biden sticker.)

Once I'd gotten back in St. Tammany Parish I started looking for the produce truck. I had spotted a "Satsuma" sign there yesterday, and I planned on getting some. They are so good.

A bit further down the road there were two cop cars with lights flashing. The veggie guy said that it had been a pretty spectacular accident with one car going into a ditch or canal.

My weekend starts this evening.
