The cats were Not Happy when I got up, thus destroying their bed (me.)

However, they were quickly mollified by the heat coming from the magic holes in the floor.

I even managed to get the trash out to the street (we don't have curbs) in time for pickup. And I noticed parish workers cleaning ditches. I was able to sweet talk the truck driver into repositioning my bridge that hed been knocked askew by a previous crew! Day after tomorrow I shall use it to make visible progress on de-weeding that area. (Tomorrow I'm going in to work. Day after tomorrow I'm getting my new fridge.)

That, I guess, was the high point of my day.

I did go to PJ's in the afternoon for some reading. I took along a geek book, but spent all my time reading Category Seven. It will probably take me a couple more days to finish it, since I'm going in to work tomorrow.

And I have reached the point where I automatically block out political commercials.

The nighttime temperatures are rapidly getting to the point where Pogo will have to learn to use the cat door (the flap kind) because leaving the sliding glass door open even possum width lets in too much cold air.

Okay--it was not a total IUD. I got my bridge repositioned and the trash out before the pick-up time.

Work tomorrow--NOT an IUD.
