I had an 11:30 optometrist appointment, so not much got done in the AM.

As long as I was in WalMart anyway, I did a quick "what did I forget last time" dash around the store. Shortly after I got home my body had a sinking spell. A fairly prolonged one.


Now I am being informed that a certain feline household resident is in dire straits and imminent danger of collapse from starvation.

Forget that there is (almost) always a bowl of dry food. And there is always the Great Outdoors where mice and birds abound.

In fact, this morning she brought in a bird. Alive. Said bird flew around and around until it found the now-open porch door and made a quick exit.

Life is never dull when you have a cat.
