When your body decides that it doesn't want to wake up till after 9 AM you know you're in for an IUD.

I did some tidying, I did a load of wash (but, come to think of it, I haven't taken it out of the washer yet), and I spent a couple of hours at PJ's reading about heaving bosoms.

Finished the heaving bosoms book. It has a lot relating to societal attitudes and expectations, but it handles that in a non-pedantic manner. In some cases, a very non-pedantic manner.

The Catholic Archdiocese of New Orleans has just gotten a new archbishop. I didn't particularly care for the previous one--and he was not a local. The one BEFORE him was (and still is) incredibly likeable. This new one seems to be a better "fit" than his immediate predecessor, who had been closing churches post-Katrina.

I'm looking at my calendar for the coming week and see two doctor appointments. They're on the same day, so I guess it's safe to say that will NOT be a work day for me. Both are routine.

One "advantage" of sleeping so late this morning: the sun was too high in the sky for yard work. Oh darn. :(

I guess my next "project" will be deciding on the next mind candy book to read.
