The closest I came to going into a store was when I used the drive-up to pick up a prescription.

Then I headed for a leisurely supper at Arby's.

When I got home I expected to be greeted by starving (according to them) cats. But no one was in sight. I called outside, then went to put food down for CC. A bit later, after His Majesty had arrived (and eaten) I went back to use the computer and there was no sign of CC.

But the piece of wallboard that serves as a cover for the chicken wire-covered hole between the two bedrooms on that side (this lets the "guest" room have AC) was askew.

For some reason, CC had pushed her way into the other room.

On tomorrow's list: get the chicken wire stapled down again to keep the gap closed. And maybe use a bit of duct tape to secure the "closure."

Unless it is windy, tomorrow will be a burn day. My goal is to have a clear driveway/parking area by Sunday evening. And I need to gas up the car tomorrow. By the time I finished supper it was getting dark, and I decided that could wait till tomorrow. I did note that the price was $2.419/gal.

Time to see what Mr. Magnificent (Spots) is up to, and to settle in for an exciting evening of lousy TV and decent reading.
