That's what I've spent most of the day doing--"stuff."

The barometric pressure must be up today--the various joints seem to be doing better.

I did a WalMart run late in the afternoon after I saw the relatively low stack of cat food cans. And the almost total absence of possum food.

When I was getting the critter food at WalMart another woman was also buying food for critters. She puts out dry cat food for non-cats, just as I do. We chatted a bit and discovered we have very similar opinions of our Parish Councilman--and they aren't particularly flattering.

We also commented wryly about the "game" in the upcoming Slidell city elections. The current police chief is running for mayor. The current mayor is (I think) running for police chief--the job he held prior to getting elected mayor.

Nothing much going on at the home front. My neighbors still are away, but I can't remember when they are due back.

My Word A Day calendar has "crapulous" posted for today.

No--it doesn't refer to something excremental. It is defined as "marked by intemperance, especially by eating or drinking." And the second definition is "sick from excessive indulgence in liquor."

In other words, when you have a hangover you feel crapulous.
