And once again, I accomplished nothing with the yard, and the bare minimum with the house interior.

On the other hand, I did lots of cat petting, thus making the feline residents quite content.

They must be doing a good job of keeping the house rodent-free, because I haven't seen any.

Considering the number of critters around here, I doubt that any rodent with even half a brain would choose to hang around. The possums and raccoons are EXTREMELY efficient about cleaning up any and all food-type "spillage," whether deliberate or accidental.

I did make a quick trip to WalMart when I discovered that I had only half a bag of cat/possum food left. It was mid-afternoon and not particularly crowded.

The weather is becoming increasingly springlike. The furnace hasn't cycled on for a couple of days now, and I'll probably have shut off the pilot by the end of next month.

Maybe tomorrow I'lll have the energy and incentive to do some yard work and maybe put in those bedding plants I bought last week.
