My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

Yep--platelet donation again today.

It wasn't particularly busy there--one other platelet donor and (at first) just one whole blood donor who was looking a bit "uncertain" at the end. Later there was another whole blood donor.

And I met the woman who telephones to say "you're eligible to donate" in a cheerful voice.

There is an endless demand for blood, and (so far) no really good substitute.

While I was donating I continued reading 206 Bones and I intend to get back to it this evening. Most of the time the TV is so forgettable that having it on in the background doesn't inhibit reading at all. And it's people noises.

My boy cat likes to be around me and he's flaked out near the bedroom door, where I am sure to notice him.

Do you get the feeling that this was another IUD?
