More commentary.

(Version 2--cat tail attack destroyed version 1.)

Let's see--concern continues about the spill. The containment booms are fabric tubes filled with materials that will "hang onto" oil. Human hair is high on the list. I'm really not too sure what will ultimately happen to all the millions of gallons that have spewed out of the broken well.

Latest plan is to cover the broken area with a very heavy "containment" structure. (I haven't heard what the plan is for when the containment dome is full.)

Not much happened today. I did manage to get in a quick trip to WalMart to replenish critter food. Today was not my day, however--no motorized carts available. Thank goodness for the "resting" seats here and there in the store.

When I pulled into my driveway the Watch Cat was resting by the patio. He likes to keep track of what is going on.

I'm not sure where the cat with the flailing tail went--probably out to the front porch to sulk.

I wouldn't say it's getting warmer, but I put the heaviest afghan away. I really doubt I'll need that for sleeping for about six months. The other night just a sheet did fine.

My body is still not completely attuned to DST--it thinks I'm getting up too early and doesn't want to wake up at that hour.

I think y'all will agree that today's been another IUD.
