It's definitely the start of the summer season weather. Now if only those little tropical storms will stay clear of the Gulf of Mexico. Around here even thinking about the possibility calls for burying head in sand. Can you say major major disaster?

Another one of my outstandingly exciting days. My body decided to sleep in--only fair I guess since it did not want to go to sleep till quite late last night. Fortunately, there's a midnight Star Trek to keep oneself amused. The current shows are from the latter part of the long series run, and they often seem to be stretching for something new. Even with an entire universe (or two) and mind-boggling scientific advancements, the plots can seem either incredibly far-fetched and/or stale.

It's still fun to watch though.

Only the cats were here when I put out the evening food. I guess it was a bit early for the raccoon(s), although the mama I saw yesterday is no doubt eating for three or four, based on the appearance of her teats. I put the kibble on the front porch, and toss the raccoon biscuits out onto the patio. The cats also eat the kibble, but not the biscuits. And the cats and raccoons seem to have no problems with the other species being on the porch at the same time.

About my only "activity" (so far) was going out to WalMart for a few things--including critter food.

I haven't decided on the next book to read. I ran across a collection by Sookie Stackhouse that looks promising--and, being a collection, it won't "involve" me for very long.

I have promised myself that tomorrow I shall get going early and do some yard cleanup, expecially regarding the burn pile. It's time it got burned.

Just another IUD.
