But at least I got another tall fan, and for a decent price.

I went to WalMart first, so I could also replenish the critter food, and lucked out.

I got other stuff there too, such as ice cream. Ice cream is a source of calcium, good for aging bones. (Forget about the calories.) (And I just double-checked the preferred spelling of aging. It may be right, but it doesn't look it.)

Yeah--I'm sufficiently nerdy that I have a dictionary next to the computer.

Little Goldie came by as usual for food, and she's learning my routine. She waits till it's poured out before she comes over to it. And, she doesn't seem as nervous when I'm there.

One of these days she'll probably bring her babies.

(I should buy stock in dry pet food companies!)

There's some mention of a possibility of showers this evening, but that's not at all unusual. It cools things down, but also raises the humidity.

I haven't quite finished reading Pirate Latitudes. Maybe this evening. It's a good one.

As I said--ho hum.
