I slept in this morning, and woke to find it mildly threatening rain-wise.

After retrieving the paper and reading it, I let my body have a sinking spell.

I think it rained during that time, but when I finally woke I had a fair amount of energy.

A check of the weather map showed that I could probably do a WM run before the next (if any) showers.

I was right, and I now have enough food to last the assorted critters (including the human one) for several days.

The felines had just been fed and I was sitting on the porch (I'd just filled the various dishes with raccoon chow) when Little Goldie arrived. She was not the least bit concerned about my being there, and merely moved to the side a bit when I headed inside.

There will probably be more rain tonight, which will cool things down, even as it raises the humidity.

I hope it is decently cool tomorrow morning--I am mentally in the mood for yard work and burn pile burning.
